I am a practising, visual artist who works with text, animation, illustration, photography and video installation.
I have worked in a multitude of settings with people from many different backgrounds, cultures and ages, as a free-lance artist, through varied voluntary work and through living abroad. I have experience ranging from working within mental health settings to music bands to working with children. As I work in a wide variety of jobs I adapt well to different situations and people. I have run sessions from paper making to black and white photography, digital photography, animation, painting murals and other crafts.
Amongst the groups I have worked with have been Manchester Art Gallery, Manchester Mental Health and Social Care Trust, The BigLife Company and Big Issue vendors, Letsgoglobal, Little Lane Travellers, Rafiki Refugee and Aslyum Seekers, numerous other Youth Groups, The Contact Theatre, Queer up North, ARC (Arts for recovery in the community) START Manchester (arts and mental health), ICA (Institute of Cultural Affairs) and the Marches School and Technology College.
